Special Edition Double Drop

Wild Card December continues and for this drop I've concentrated on my MosFET twins. Yes, they are fraternal twins and have very different gain ranges and topologies, but MosFET is in their DNA.

The Secret Chord goes from semi-clean boost to low-gain dirt. While the Red Spiral picks up where the SC leaves off and has two more additional higher gain settings. Both have a very amp-like feel and are meant to pair with clean to edge-of-breakup amp channels. You can use either as a standalone dirt box, but they shine with a thrumming tube amp.

This version of the Secret Chord is brushed aluminum with laser-etched "spiritus" graphics. While the Red Spiral is powder-coated sparkle red with "deco" graphics. The pictures do not do justice to the depth or variation of these pedals. In person they are stunning. They are also as close to Christmas colors as I am willing to get! Oh, and the Red Spiral has a matching red 80n inside too, I love how tough it sounds with an 80n
