I've mentioned many times that I prefer the LF351 OpAmp, but the tin-can versions of the LF351 OpAmp are very hard to find at reasonable prices. So these versions have to stay LTD due to parts scarcity. I will keep making custom versions like this for as long as I can find parts. This version has the Shave control which progressively shaves off high-frequencies as you turn counter-clockwise.
To compliment the LF351 the Texture Toggle will have the following settings:
1. Low Vf LED
2. 1N4148 (Like the DOD 250)
3. Silicon BAT41
Setting 1 is big, loud, and less distorted. Setting 2 loses a tiny bit of volume, but has a nice loose texture. Setting 3 is tight and controlled.
Dawn did some laser-cutting magic with a multi-etch anodized look. I also gave a nod to vintage design with the laser-cut border "folio" graphics.
